2014 Premium Graded KNN mare 143cm
Solid Chestnut with one copy of PATN1
Maisie is out of one of our foundation mares, Britains Tigre Lilly, who was graded with a first premium by the KNN in 2012. Lilly has produced a succession of stunning foals, all of which have proved sensible and capable when started under saddle, and it is hoped that Maisie will be one of our ridden ponies when she is older. Her sire is the stunning Knabstrupper Holmegards Bastian KNN 183, who has successfully competed BS Showjumping in the past, and is now being campaigned at Advanced Medium Level British Dressage by Samantha Brown:
Maisie has been to 3 KNN gradings, both for youngstock evaluation and for her mare grading, achieving Premium status on all occasions. She first travelled as a foal at foot, to the UK KNN Knabstrupper grading at Leamside Equestrian where she gained a first premium and Best Foal. She was then left to mature, turned out with our other ponies at grass.
The following year she attended the 2015 KNN Grading at Moulton College, where she gained a First Premium, Scoring an 9 overall, and was Best Youngstock in Show as a yearling. Some lovely remarks from the judges - one to watch for the future, with three 9's in her score sheet. We are very proud of her, taking everything in her stride.

In September 2017, Maisie was Presented to the KNN for her lifetime Mare grading approval. She was once again awarded a First Premium, and was Best Mare - a superb accomplishment for a 3yo filly.
